Pricing
Quotes are based on the items being set and struck (tables, chairs, chair pads, umbrellas, lounge furniture, and bars) and the estimated time on-site. Have something else in mind? Just ask — we're happy to quote it.
Booking
A signed service agreement and 50% deposit secures your date. Final payment is due 7 days before your first service date.
Cancellations
Cancellation terms are outlined in our service agreement and scale based on how close to the event date you cancel.
Travel Fees
Travel fees apply based on venue location — Pricing Includes Round Trip.
Schematics Required
We ask for a layout/schematic 7 days before setup so our crew arrives ready to execute your vision.

Meet the Owner
Set & Strike was founded by Heather Nelson-Tapia, who brings over 20 years of experience and deep-rooted relationships across the Wine Country events community to every job. After years spent working alongside venues, planners, and caterers throughout Napa, Sonoma, Marin, and Mendocino Counties, Heather saw a clear need for a dependable, professional labor partner event teams could count on — and built Set & Strike to fill it.
Heather leads the business day-to-day, with support from her husband Dennis, whose background in efficient event setup helps keep every load-in and load-out running on time. Together, they've built Set & Strike into a trusted resource for venues and event professionals who need a crew that shows up on time, works hard, and treats every event like it's their own.
When she's not running Set & Strike, Heather stays active across the events and hospitality world — and as a parent of four, she knows a thing or two about getting a lot done efficiently and still striking a healthy balance.
